A bit confused wit the BMR stuff

So i've read that a lot of people are getting more results by upping their calories to be more reflective of their BMR. I did the military BMR calculator and came up with 2000. Does that mean I should be eating 2000 calories a day, and eat back my exericse calories or should I be eating less than that...
After I figured out my BMR I upped my calories from 1400 to 1600, but now I'm reading I need to at least meet my BMR of 2000. That seems like a lot to eat everyday. Since I upped to 1600 I have been loosing inches but no pounds. I know there are a lot of self-proclaimed BMR experts on here. Please help me out!
Thanks in advance :flowerforyou:
P.S. the title should be with not wit lol

Is 2000 your BMR or TDEE? Two different numbers, and a lot of people confuse them. If it's your BMR, then yes, net that (eat that plus exercise calories.)0

What's TDEE? Probably a stupid question, but I'm still pretty new at this stuff lol0
