Don't know why I'm writing this, but whatever, it's on my mind. I will be participating in my first 5k charity walk on saturday (4/28). It's for the March for Babies and I'm on a team with a girl i went to high school with. Her daughter was born 9 weeks early and was in the NICU until her due date. It's a subject close to me because my oldest sister had both of her children premature, her youngest was about 8 weeks early and was in the NICU for a while.
I'm just really excited about it. It's a family friendly event, and I'm wondering if i should borrow my youngest nephew from my sister for the day because he is about the same age as the woman's daughter that I'm walking with (both just over a year old). It might be kind of fun to see them interact because my nephew doesn't spend much time around children his own age.

That was my random thought of the day lol

It sounds like a great opportunity for him to make friends, if he'd be interested. Hope your walk goes really well! My cousin was born premature - he's had heart problems since birth, he's developed epilepsy in the last year or two and at seven years old he's the size of an average four year old.
