    i don't think you can. i've wanted the same feature for some time.

    i think you just have to submit it to the database then they can search for it. you could give it a unique name, i.e. "leedootson's pulled pork sandwich" or something to that effect to make it easier for them to find.

    ETA: at the bottom of the screen when you are creating or editing a recipe, there is a set of radio buttons that let you choose whether or not to add your recipe to the database. click 'yes' here.
