calling all CANADIANS (ontario) where do I meet new people?

seriously, I'm ready to get out there... meet new people, with similar interests, go on dates and meet that special someone.
I'm 24 and it feels like my 20's are flying by :sick:

I do some volunteering and am looking into some other options. I use to be apart of a running group.. it was all middle-aged women...
I'm not sure what to do at this point.
Even if I were to dish out the cash for an online site... there are hardly any Canadians...

I was even thinking some catholic/Christian organization but I have no idea where to look.
I feel clueless.

Does anyone have any suggestions?


possibly Hamilton, Burlington, or Oakville maybe even Mississauga area?

ps. I'm also a nurse and i work full-time plus try to workout as much as I can... so it's hard to find the time. I also don't have a huge group of friends blahh :(
