Is it ok to go over in vitamin A, B, iron and calcium every day. More like 150-200% + over. I'm also anemic and I've just started working out. I get maybe 20-50% of my vitamins from my food and the rest from supplements. A friend of mine that works at a gym told me my body will get rid of the extra vitamins I don't need.

Some vitamins are toxic at extreme doses. I'm not sure about iron, but A and B are pretty safe. Calcium excess I believe can lead to kidney stones?
I'd think 200% is pretty safe though.
Edit: There are two types of vitamins, fat soluble and water soluble. Fat soluble can be stored and you probably want to limit intake, vitamin A is fat soluble.0 -
