I would suggest just going through and rating things you have seen so they can give you some recommendations based on what you like or don't like0 -
pulp fiction, any ninja turtle movie (i am mega nerd) most anime, men of honor0
-
I've only watched 3 movies since getting Netflix last month (Punisher, Baby Boom, Little Princess, lmaooo) . I could give you plenty of recommendations for tv shows though...especially if they're sci-fi or anime! :laugh:0
-
Excellent movies I've watched on Netflix recently:
"Moon" "The Game" "True Grit" "Howl's Moving Castle"
As for shows I really recommend the TED Talks features.0 -
Netflix never has any suggestions for me, might be because I've rated over 3,800 movies..but meh.
Did you get streaming, DVD/Blue-Ray, or both?
You can watch lots of "Documentaries" like Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead, Fathead, Forks over Knives, etc...
I wouldn't recommend it as they are more propaganda than anything else =P
I personally love my Netflix because I get access to lots of foreign movies. Wong Kar Wai is the best director, evar! (Kar Wai Wong)
I highly recommend Oldboy Muahahahahaahah.0 -
UFO/Alien documentaries and non-English movies and you'll have my normal listing.
Movies I like:
Departures
2-Headed Shark Attack (Watched purely for laughs)
Anything directed by Akira Kurosawa.
Shall We Dance? (Remember that Richard Gere & Jennifer Lopez tragedy of a movie a couple years back?.. This is the original movie and much better (IMHO))0 -

TV shows is the best thing about Netflix Unfortunately, they rarely get the good new theatrical releases except on disc.0 -

Dollhouse is amazing, really interesting and original idea with amazing implementation, humor, fantastic acting and shocking plot twists. That's my top netflix recommendation.0

- Mad Men
- United States of Tara
- Weeds
- I Shouldn't Be Alive
- ID Disappeared0 -
If you're talking the instant side of Netflix, a few ideas might be:
1. Mad Men
2. How I Met Your Mother
3. Frasier
4. Wire in the Blood
5. Days and Clouds, if you like foreign films
6. Lie to Me
7. Good Will Hunting
8. From Paris with Love (Travolta action film)0 -
watched so many movies0

They have a lot of workouts to choose from. I get dvd's by mail, I don't watch on my computer. It's a great way to try workouts, instead of buying DVDs only to find out later that you hate the instructor.0
-
Rocky 1-4
If you're going to do Rocky movies, you should include Rocky Balboa, from a couple years ago.
I'd add Fat Head. Watching that movie is what got me on my current weight loss trip.0 -
Walking Dead series
Doc Martin (BBC)
There's a National Geographic documentory about walking The Appalachian Trail on Netflix. I enjoyed that. I would like to walk part of the AT someday.0 -
I watch mostly TV series. Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, maybe Mythbusters every once and awhile. Classic TV I used to watch as a kid like The Munsters, etc.0
-
Being Human (BBC)
Supernatural. LOVE that series.0 -
I keep Netflix because of the foreign horror movie selection!
Will look out for that one!
I do watch a few series as well: How I Met Your Mother and Archer. I'd like to start Dr. Who this summer!0 -
Weeds.0

I like to watch the foreign movies. The Chinese actually put out some really good movies with great story and characters that are very engaging even when reading subtitles. Excellent choices: "Raise the Red Lantern", "Eat, Drink, Man, Woman" (much better than Tortilla Soup) and "The Road Home" is a really beautiful love story.0
