Hi so I'm so confused with how much I should be eating daily! I was doing a 1200 cal diet and lost weight not fast but it came off.... then it has been stuck. UGH. and then after research and reading post from some of you great MFP users I realized maybe I need to be eating MORE(never thought of that). So I calculated my BMR...but I got two different numbers...
MFP gave me a number that was lower than the other calculation I did... for my BMR. 1449 vs 1531
Which should I use? What has worked best for most people?
I guess you should know I work out extensively prob about 1- 1 1/2 hr 6 days a week and drink at least a gal of water a day.

any BMR calculation is an estimate or a curve fit to a group of people, so 1449 and 1531 are basically the same number as far as I'm concerned.
Think of it as 1490 +/- 41 and say 1490 is your BMR.0
