Hello! I am 18 years old and looking to make some positive changes in my life. I grew up chubby as a result of not having spent much time outside. My dad was pretty disabled from a fall from a 3 story building that resulted in both his legs and hip being broken, and ankles and heels being shattered. I currently weigh 268 pounds, and my goal is to weigh 200. This past month I've stopped eating fast food all together, as it used to be a 3-4 times a week thing because my family rarely has time to prep / cook dinners, and eating dinner at a restaurant like Outback or Chili's was bi-weekly occurence. The temptation was everywhere and I've managed to get down to 1200 calories per day. I get full off of appropriate sized servings now and no longer eat past satisfaction. I'm simply looking for some people to communicate with about things like this and join a supportive group of people. Thanks!

Hi! Welcome. I'm also trying for 1,200 calories a day and managing fine with the help of myfitnesspal. Good job on cutting out the fast food. I've managed to eat healthily at Mcdonalds and stay under my limit (salad, grille chicken burger) but it is far to tempting to go with friends while they are all getting fries and icecream. Good luck with everything!0
