Should I give running a miss today?

I ran 3 mile Friday, 4 miles Saturday, had a rest Sunday, went to the gym and did 1.5 miles at a faster pace than my longer runs and an hour of boxercise yesterday... I wanted to run 3 mile tonight, but a muscle in my inner thigh hurts - should I give it a miss?

    you certainly don't want to risk injury - how about you do weights instead?

    Anthro is right, stick with some upper body stuff today and give your legs a break. You don't want to miss 2 weeks of running from a pulled muscle!

    Or go for a walk - that can help loosen things up.

    I would skip it or do something else. My legs are hurting right now instead, but I just did the elliptical trainer and some walking.

    You should rest - your muscles are telling you they need a bit of a break

    rest and stretch and take some ibuprofen.
