Hello all,
I am new to this, this is my first post.
I have a question. I have joined Curves gym and work out 3 times a week for a half hour. But when I try to put it in my exercise journal I can't find a way to add it. This work out does not have rep's or weights it is resistance strength training on a circuit. Any advice? I have been skipping added it because I can't find a way to plug it in, but now that I have realized I am in starvation by not eating all my cal, plus not eating my exercise cals I am getting scared! Do any of you work out at curves? How do you add this type of exercise?

In cardio type in circuit training...and then just input the 30 minutes.
  • hi jennplus,

i've heard that in general, resistance training burns ~70 calories per 10 minutes of training. this would obviously vary depending on how vigorously you were exercising, but perhaps you can use that as a guideline.

the easiest way to add this to your diary is to add a new exercise under "cardiovascular" and label it "Resistance Training". You can manually plug in your estimation of how many calories you burn per 10 minutes and use that from now on.

    hope that helps.
