Calculator in the kitchen.

Sometimes when I'm rushed and I don't have time to scan packages with my phone or go to my computer, I have a calculator on my kitchen counter and I just keep a tally of the calories that I'm eating for that meal. It's especially helpfull if I'm eating a meal with more than a few ingredients, like a salad, or a sandwich. Then I just use the quick add feature and enter the total into MFP when I get a chance. You don't get the benefits of keeping track of your sugers, etc., but it's better than not doing it at all.

I also find keeping a small memo pad handy to write down what I'm eating helps. We are "supposed" to stay off social networks or any personal business on the office computers, so I can't always log food or snacks during the day, so I will grab a post it and write down what I ate and stick it in my day planner so I can update MFP when I get home.
