on page 1 alone that is 4223 sticks of butter...
on page 2 alone that is 6042.5 sticks of butter
both page one and two that is 10265.5...

If you lined them up you could travel about 171 feet*... yum.... ::sick:

*this is taking a length of 5 inches for a standard stick of butter

Omg this is so amazing, thank you for posting this. I was getting bummed about my plateau but this just made my whole day better. Since MFP: 136 sticks, since my highest weight, 304 sticks of butter! o.O That's insane. xD

I've lost 76 lbs since my highest and after seeing this post I remember my job from high-school. I was a crew leader at auntie annes (I actually lost weight working there somehow :P) and stocking the back was one of my daily tasks. There were these 50lb bags of cinnamon sugar that I had to carry and I remember how friggin heavy that thing was! I felt like I was gonna die after lifting that monster and now all I can think about it that my body used to carry that plus a half around daily.... everywhere! I couldn't imagine trying that now, my mind is seriously blown... xD

120 sticks since December, but 200 since August 2010. That's a lot of butter.

I think in the same terms! 224 sticks for me. I look at various body parts and think about how many sticks of "butter" I need to lose in those isolated areas. I always think of Oprah wheeling her red wagon filled with fat onto the stage of her show. I try to keep that in mind.

When I was in WW our leader would have us build a food shrine w/non-perishable food that weighed equal to the amount of weight we lost over a certain time period. It was impressive to see how much people lost! It was kinda fun too trying to find food that matched your weight loss - like a jar of baby food versus a pound of canned goods. Then it was all donated to the local food bank.
