I love a lady with a posh English accent.

I am from 10 miles outside Edinburgh so have an East of Scotland accent (not too broad).

Mr P....what is wrong with a broad Scottish Accent??? lol :-P

What is it with all these love of aussie accents?

Some of the guys sound riddiculously bogan --- PLEASE tell me this love is not aimed at the "steve Irwin" accent...

oooh NO!!! think Hugh Jackman, Keith Urban (when talking, not singing) chef Curtis Stone....its the "softer" australian accent that is sooooo hot!!

Personally like the aussie and scottish male accent (ewan mcgregor may have coloured my judgement there)

Find it funny when Americans say they like English accents cos when I was out there only 1/10 could tell I was English, most thought I was Australian and I have a Queens English accent as well...

HUGE difference between English and Australian accents. I sometimes have trouble distinguishing between Aussie and South African at first, but rarely between English and Australian.

I find it interesting that, as small as England is compared to many other countries, there is still a large variety of English accents.

Though strangely, as an English person, I have been asked a couple of times (by other English people) if I was Australian! Never been there in my life! Though there is a distinct possibility they may have been morons. I generally have quite a 'neutral' English accent, fellow Brits can usually only pinpoint me to South vs North.

My husband has a super CUTE accent. He was born in El Salvador, and moved to the US when he was 9...but he still has a bit of an accent, he speaks slowly and he's soft spoken. Especially on the phone (which was our main form of communication when we first met, we talked on the phone every night for a few months) . <3

I also LOVE English, Irish and Australian accents.

I, on the other hand, have no accent to speak of. My accent is neutral and people have assumed I am from all over the US because you can not tell I was born and raised in New york city. I credit that to my acting experience. I've always remained neutral in order to switch from one accent to the next.
