Hey MFP  Are you in your Comfort Zone??? I just wanted to tell you how cool it is to step out of it!!!! I have been working out since July, started slow then began to push myself to try new things...spin was one I really didn't want to try but knew I needed to!!! Now I spin often and love it. I also tried running by joining a running class that started us off slow and got me up to running 20 mins!!! Then I ran my first 1/2 marathon in Feb...OK I didn't run the whole thing but I ran alot and felt such a sense of accomplishment!!!

My newest race was the Warrior Dash!!!! I did that in March....WOW fun with alittle scarey!!! Sunday I did the Survivor Mud Run...next is a Beach Dash in June and a 36mile bike ride in July! So I am saying if I can you can!!!! Grab some friends and sign up for one of these!!!!

These races help keep me motivated and in training. GO FOR IT!!!!

I'm doing the Warrior Dash in WI in August I can't wait... super excited and looking forward to it... I love running races but this is my first one like this verses the normal running...
  • stepping out of the comfort zone is very important, lol a year and half ago i used to only squat 225 to stay in the comfort zone, but the biggest transformation that occurred with my body is when i decided to step it up a few notches! happy to say i do 390 like a boss with a goal of 405 in mind! :D

I really want to do the warrior dash. Unfortunately, I am still at the point I can't run and have no upper body strenght. So am aiming for next year. I did sign up for Bay to Breakers (walking that one) and a color run (my first 5k in 25 years). One step at a time!
