6 Week Cure for the Middle-Aged Middle

Has anyone read this book? I am looking for diet help, anyway. I workout 6 days a week, usually 30-40 minutes of cardio and 60-70 minutes strength training each day. I am seeing changes in my physique muscle-wise; broader shoulders, thicker arms, bigger chest, more defined legs; but my middle section is still pudgy. I've been at it for a year and a half now, changing up my workout every 8-12 weeks, but still can't shake the pudge. Just curious if anyone has read this book and tried their program. I found it at the library yesterday, they also wrote a book called Protein Power. I think diet change is the only thing that will help me trim my middle section. Any advice is welcome.

    I don't have 6 pack abs, but most of what I have read indicates that it's primarily a matter of sufficiently reducing body fat...I'm not there yet at a whopping 27%...if you find anything that works or even helps, I would be delighted to hear it!!!
