What/who motivates you to lose weight?

I was never motivated to lose weight, I always said I was going to diet, exercise and I'd do it for a good week, but I would give up shortly after.
It is so hard to stay motivated, but I'm not gonna give up this time. I'm 41 pounds down and I'm still going thanks to my motivators.

The people that motivate me
My Mother (Yes, in fact I am the only one "pale" in my family and no I was not adopted lol )

My handsome and very supportive boyfriend

What motivates me as well:
That one dress I wore when I first met my boyfriend ( :
(One day I'll get down to that weight again, I'll wear this and take a picture for MFP when I do!)

And of course MFP  ( :

It's a bit random, but the actresses of 1950s Hollywood, like Jane Russell! I keep a couple of photos next to my mirror to keep my motivation up too. Being a person with curves, I've become disillusioned with all the Kate Moss's of today and love that there was a time when womanly figures were really celebrated. Yet they also had neat figures and waists, and it's given me a good idea of what to aim for.
So that's my motivation! That, and a couple of pairs of jeans in the back of my wardrobe :P

    I totally agree with you!
It's sad that this generation to be considered "beautiful" is to fit into a size 0.
Plus size models are beautiful and being a woman with curves myself I don't aim to have a stick figure.
