Question about calories burned during exercise

Do the lists of calories burned by doing cardiovascular exercises take into account calories burned during "normal" activity? For the sake of example, Lets say I burn 100 calories/hr at a resting position. When I exercise for an hour, the myfitnesspal website says I burn 500 calories. Have I actually only burned an additional 400 calories or do I count the entire 500? Also, should I use the calorie count burned on my watch instead of the generic numbers on the website?

Use your watch. I have a HRM and it always says it's more. I truely believe that it's more accurate as well. It takes into account different factors. It literally knows how hard you are working!!!
Hope that helped, at least part of your question!0
