calorie burn for popular workouts

hello, I learned of MFP from the Beachbody website because I have and do several of their exercise programs (Insanity, TurboFire, LesMillsBodyPumo & Brazilian Butt Lift) and I would love it if the caloric outputs of these were available on your exercise menu. I realize I can calculate these myself with an HRM but it would be great to have two numbers. Anyway, just wondering if that might happen in the near future. Thank you!

It's easiest if you buy either a HRM with chest strap that does the calorie calculations for you or something like a BodyBugg. MFP cannot take your fitness level or effort into account, it's just a rough estimate. If you can't get one of those devices, just search MfP for the type of exercise you're doing - I.e. 'strength trainign' or 'aerobics' or 'kickboxing' or 'calisthenics' etc. MFP cannot create exercise entries for all of the various individual DVDs out there, they didn't even create the formulas for the ones you see in the database, those are the same ones found on insurance websites and other locations.0
