'Ello. Once again, I find myself trying (again) to lose weight, this time with a whole new diet (new way of eating} - Low Carb (well, modified low carb - he has high chol & I have alot of food allergies), but not just because of me, but my Hubby wants to eat better and get back into shape as well.

I've tried most of the main diets out there, over the span of atleast a decade (or two) now and nothing short of starvation & 4 hours of hard exercise (which I can't do anymore due to PAIN) have I managed to keep anything off. 5yrs ago I lost 90lbs in 9 month, only to gain it all back in a year because I couldn't continue the amount of exercise I was doing. And, yes, I am finally trying to play nice with the doctors to see if there really is a medical reason why I can't "shed" the weight.

It's hard, depressing, painful and taxing, but I am sick and tired of being overweight and miserable, I admit I really don't want to be tiny, I'll be happy between 150 & 170 rather than were I am now.

So, hopefully I can keep this up, make permanent life changes that I can keep and in the end be a happier & healthier person than I currently am. Yeah! :blushing:
