Fruit dip

This past Saturday night was girls' game night with me and my friends. We try to do themes for food and since several of us are trying hard to shed some excess pounds, this month's theme was fruit/veggies.
I signed on for fruit skewers. Instead of making a fruit salad with everything jumbled in together, I used bamboo sticks and broke them in half and filled each half with all sorts of colorful fruits. It was a great idea that looked pretty, was easy to serve, and was sooo much more portion controlled than a ladle full of fruit.
My best friend was crunched for time and didn't know what to bring... I was going to make a fruit dip with yogurt and jello, and since I was running short on time myself, told her to go ahead and make a dip if she wanted. PERFECTION. She used fat free coolwhip and a box of sugar free fruit punch jell-o. She blended it all together and it was HEAVEN. The texture was awesome and the entire container was roughly 400 calories. We split it between 11 people and over half the container was still left when we were finished!
Other things at our game night were:
veggie platters with ff ranch dressing instead of dip (no one minded at ALL)
broccoli salad
deviled eggs with grape tomatoes and lettuce on top
Just wanted to share it with all of you in case you needed a fun, fresh, healthy idea for your next gathering!
