My Routine

Currently I am doing a VERY basic routine. I am doing P90 Sculpt 1-2, I have been doing this for 3 weeks. I plan to do it for 6 then move up to Sculpt 3-4, and I walk 5 days a week for 30 minutes. I have been using the Fat2Fit program (in the process of increasing my calories).

I am thinking about starting with heavy weights. I have been looking into "Starting Strength". Should I finish my p90 12 weeks (I am seeing some results) or should I just ditch it and pony up for the "Starting Strength"? I have never been to a gym a day in my life so I am little nervous about starting to go to one. I am also worried I won't have good technique and hurt myself.

Any advice?

Are you happy doing the p90? Is it working for you? Are you bored with it? Only you can answer your questions for yourself. I don't see why you couldn't do both, if you have the time and energy for it! I tend to start a lot of things and never finish any of them. So I've decided to finish up my 5k training before starting new rules of lifting for women. Race day is less than 2 weeks away, and I'm feeling good! But I'm still holding off the new lifting routine until after that. I want to accomplish something first. LOL!

Thanks for the response. I am with you. I never finish anything! LOL This is my second go around with 90. I like it, it seems to burn a lot of calories and I am definitely seeing results in my arms and midsection. I think I will finish this out then maybe reconsider going to a gym. My biggest fear is getting hurt! LOL
