Any office workout suggestions?

I have 5 and half hours left at work, and its a super slow day... i think I'm going to try and fit pushups in every 30 minutes any other suggested in office workouts?

    How big is your office and how private do you need to be?

    If you're doing pushups you could also do squats. These are my all time favourite exercise (not!). You could walk fast or jog around the office if there is space. Maybe some sit-ups? Or if you have a radio turn it up and dance?

    Do you have stairs in your office? i work in a 4 story building and i run up and down the stairs when i have a few extra minutes. I average 30 - 40 flights a day, and it's really helped! good luck :)

    They all seem doable, except the jogging and if I start pacing around my office Airfield ops will think I'm going crazy! And the stairs I can't do, I am the only one here and I have to keep an eye on satellite, radar and phones just in case a stray thunderstorm gets too close! haha :wink:

    Raise your desk two feet higher and just stand up all day instead of sit.

    So I have to be the **** here....

    Get a job where you're on your feet and lifting things.

    Try the Army, it helped me.

    leg lifts while sitting on the edge of your chair, standing crunches, find some heavy books and lift them, jumping jacks, etc. i keep an exercise ball at my desk and have a bike pedaler i bought for $15 bucks on amazon underneath. you may look into soem items like this for future boredom!

    I'm in the airforce and I forecast the weather, can't really just decide to get out and find another job haha

    Well there is your first mistake, joining the AF. LOL. jk jk! I work with a whole bunch of AF people overseas where I'm at right now.

    But ummmmmm, try keagals. :)

    I've worked with the army,navy and marines on occasion as well not all of them are so active at work! But it is great being able to work with all branches instead of being stuck around the AF people ALL the time. It's refreshing! :wink:
