A healthy BMI vs the Mirror

Hey guys,
I see so many people on here are saying they reached a plateau since this is my first time around the "exercise go round" I've deduced that plateau means you are not losing any weight.
Now I'm losing weight slowly, but I am so I don't think I hit a plateau, but I'm losing cms quite quickly and all over not just certain areas which I guess is good right?
But now that has me thinking what if I look in the mirror and I feel good but the scale still says I'm overweight do you continue? or do you try to get into a healthy BMI and just not a size 8 or whatever you think looks good on you?
Also is it common to lose more cm's than kilograms? I'm losing k/grams lol and yes I measure in grams lol because it takes long to get to the Kilogram/Pound and every bit counts!

BMI is a terrible indicator. Body fat percentage is much better. Have a low BFP, but a lot of muscle then your BMI might show you as overweight when you are not. Scales are also horrible indicators for the same reason.
If you are seeing a change in your body composition (which if you are losing cm it sounds like you are) then it doesn't matter what the scale does or does not say. When you start gaining muscle and losing fat the scale might not change but you ARE getting healthier.0
