I crashed my 2006 Harley Street Glide on 4/11/2012! Totaled the bike! I'm pretty banged up nothing broken, but need to get back on track with weight loss and strength training. I went to the gym today did some light weight training. High reps light weight! My legs took a pretty good beating and my shoulder too! I just don't want this accident to stop my progress! Any suggestions or support?

Slow and steady.
DO NOT PUSH YOURSELF UNTIL YOU ARE HEALED!! I have permanent damage due to me not listing to my Dr and doing too much before I had healed from my injuries.
If you’re a member of a gym, talk to the personal trainers, even if you don't have one that you're working with, they be happy to set you on the right track.0 -
That sucks man. Is it just superficial injuries (cuts, bruises, grazes etc.) or did you receive any joint, ligament or tendon damage? If you damaged any of the latter you might want to consult with your doc first about if there's any exercises you should avoid while in the healing process.0
