Couch to 5k

Hi everyone,
I am starting week two of c25k this afternoon, and was curious about how much weight I can expect to lose doing the program?
I am 148lbs at the moment, and never ran before.
I have quite muscular legs from dancing for years, so I'm a little bit concerned that my thighs wont get any smaller if I start running regularly.
Any views/advice?
Thanks peeps!

Probably won't lose much unless you are also making diet changes. I wear a HRM and burn about 170 calories per session (and I'm heavier than you) so that's 510 calories a week for 3 sessions. I'm sure it's great for your cardiovascular health and will give you a sense of accomplishment.
Good luck!0
