easy changes to diet

I just started my weight loss journey in January but wanted to share some easy changes I have made to my diet that are very satisfing and good.
I use baked corn tostadas and black bean refried beans when in the mood for taco's. A small amount of cheese, lots of chopped spinach and tomatoes and onion and salsa. Whole plate full of goodness for about 300 calories.
I use whole grain sandwhich rounds for my beloved sandwhiches. I use light miricle whip instead of mayo.
I use fresh spinach everywhere I used to use lettuce. I go thru a big bag every week.
I use a microwave popcorn popper for popcorn and use butter flavored spray to make the salt stick. I can eat a lot of it without trashing my calories for the day, I also get more whole grains in, instead of reaching for a bag of chips. Sometimes I make it in the morning and take it to work to eat in place of less healthy snacks.
I use a tbsp of apple butter instead of butter and additional jam when I just have to have toast and jelly with my eggs.
I measure high calorie things but eyeball things like spinach and other vegetables to cut down on the amount of measuring I need to do.
I would be happy to hear of other changes people have made that are healthier and lower calorie and still good!

Lunch - always has a side of veggies (used to be a side of chips). Fresh green beans today - yum! Glad Simply Cooking steam bags are a great way to "cook" at work.
2% cheese is a godsend. I know there is also "fat free" but it doesn't melt, or brown.
Greek yogurt - OMG! The flavored is still lower calorie (starts out less tart, so less sugar is added) - and big, big protein. Yum. Unflavored greek is a good sour cream substitute, and good for dips.
I don't measure lower cal stuff either. A coffee scoop is 2 TBL and a good measuring "cup" for salad dressings
I use Orville butter flavored oil with my microwave popper - no spray needed - salt sticks.
Instant steel cut oats - texture is really good. This is just as quick as rolled oats.
Brownberry Healthful bread is 80 calories a slice ..... this has "real" bread texture. As low as I can go ....I've tried the rounds ... not for me.0
