Those rare days...

So I have a question about those really difficult days to track. I recently returned from an out-of-town wedding. I was a bridesmaid and was busy nonstop. The food was NOT healthy (but sure was yummy!). There was one salad with the dressing already on it. I was starving, so I ate what I could when there was a spare moment.
In a situation like this, do you make every effort to track and stay on plan, or do you prefer to relax and not worry about the calories that day? A day like this is so rare. I decided to enjoy the food that was prepared for me and not add to the stress.
Granted... with all the running around I did, I probably burned a LOT more calories than what's typical for me. I have a desk job so I don't normally move around that much all day long.

Nothing wrong with living it up at a wedding. As long as you get back to you're normal routine, you'll be fine.0

I had a few days like that and didn't bother trying to log anything. I just noted in "Today's Food Notes" that I probably went over my calorie budget for the day, and why, and went back to my normal routine the following day. It didn't seem to cause any problems for me other than temporary water weight gain from excess salt.0
