I recently started maintenance calories... do I worry so much about the macros now?? or the calories are more important?? or do i STILL keep within limits on ALL?? Im a little confused because, now that Ive had to UP my calories I seem to be OVER on my carbs alot due to eating more fruit.. (and peanut butter)
Id love any HELPFUL suggestions.... thanks.

The calories are what determines whether you maintain or not. So that's the main goal.
The macro distribution is not really rigid, you might chose to have 40% of your energy from carbs, 30% from protein and then fat has to be 30%.
With the parameters I wouldn't sweat about being 10 or 20% out on a particular day, as long as you aren't always the same way.
If you get your energy up and overshoot a macro it's because your eating out of balance with your goals. So if the carbs are over a lot eat some almonds or peanuts which will give you energy with low carbs.0
