You know all those yummy refrigerator pies and other desserts you used to make every summer using Eagle Brand? Well here's a way to make your own version that has no fat or sugar, so you can reinvent all those desserts. (I used it to make a low fat, low sugar version of my Moma's lemonade pie you'll also find on the recipe thread.)

2 cups dry powdered milk
1 cup Splenda granules (measures like sugar)
1/2 cup boiling water

Place ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Takes the place of one can of Eagle Brand condensed milk.

The first time I tried it I was skeptical, but it really works!

Just replace any recipe you have that calls for Eagle Brand with this. Here's my version adapted form the original EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk recipe for homemade ice cream:

*Recipe for Sugar Free Condensed Milk
1 Cup Splenda Granules (measures like sugar)
    2 Cups Nonfat Powdered Milk
    ½ cup boiling water

    3 large eggs, well beaten
¼ cup Splenda (measures like sugar)
    4 cups Skim Milk
    2 tablespoons vanilla extract
    1 cup fruit (if desired)

    Ice
    Rock Salt

Or you can make orange sherbet with this recipe plus 4 cups of diet orange soda and a can of crushed pineapple in its own juice.
