Workout routines for beginners

Okay so this is my first post, so be nice, but honest plz:)
I'm just getting back into working out again, yes I know cardio is great and it's a strong part of my routine. But I'm looking to add more to it. I want to start lifting again but I am wondering what people on here think about some great starter routines with some free weights and a few simple machines. Mind I'm on business travel again so I am limited on the equipment. So my fellow MFP peeps any ideas??
