hopefully its easy. If you cook something in a crock pot ( for example, plain jane chicken breast with 1/2 cup of chicken broth) how do you log this under the data base? would it be considered broiling or same as grilling, or baking? here isnt much generic crockpot recipes, they all seem to be meals people have added. any idea on what sort of cals crokpotting does?or should i just log it under raw chicken and broth?

I usually put under broil or bake. Doesn't really matter if you don't add other stuff to it. I usually just do plain chicken and whether it is baked, boiled or broiled it is the same calories. I would think most everything else would be that way too.
BTW - You don't need to add the broth. Chicken releases its own juices and makes its own broth as it is cooking in the slow cooker. I throw mine in frozen and come back after work to yumminess all ready to eat.0 -
That method of cooking is "braising" and it is in the database for most meats, including chicken.0
