Hello

I am 50 and over the last 10 years I have put on over 20kg OMG writing it makes me feel terrible.

I have tried Jenny Craig, WW and now this. I have just bought a new bike, booked a trip for overseas. I am a pretty strong person , somewhere along the line i have started seeing food as reward and my treat.

Anyway thats the short version.

    The important thing is that you are trying and that you already see yourself as a strong person
    Looks like you've got the potential to go great distances! Though we may be worlds apart as far as age goes I do love riding bikes. Maybe we can share bike riding adventures.

  • Hi teapot domesca and janehudson I looked at this site 3 months ago or so, joined up, did nothing on it because I did the 12 wbt with michelle bridges, lost the weight now want to just keep it off, scary concept that it might go back on over winter, so here I am again. I'm 50 this year and I love bike riding road events and just started mountain bikes races which i am not very good at!! ok time for me to go and cook a 12 wbt meal for the family. hope you are all doing well!!!     Hey jenn just sent you a friend request! I am in the process of fixing up a bike myself. In the beginning of the year I made an effort to ride a 4 mile trail every morning, but the bike is not working anymore. Gotta fix the brake cable and what not. Still, I love making friends with similar interest! Don't be afraid to gain the weight during winter. Though it's completely understandable there are always things that can be done to stay active. ;) Even if it's just in your own home, you can walk more, even joggin in place or doing jumping jacks is better than nothing! Keep up the good work sounds like you totally have the potential for this
