Natural Sugars - should I be concerned?

I have been having fruit smoothies for breakfast to get lots of good stuff but when I do I get over my sugar intake for the day. But I have cut out granulated sugar - just natural ones and I have been working out. Should I be concerned?

Not overly no, the main point is calories in the end (unless you are diabetic).
When it comes down to it, your body needs sugar. Cellular production of ATP depends on it. Now, refined sugars can spike your insulin production very easily, not so much with things like fruits and veggies despite the fact they are technically simple carbs. The reason why they are not in the same realm as refined sugars however is due to everything else present. Hence why fruit juice is not recommended compared to whole fruit typically. Grapefruit juice is a huge amount of readily accessed fructose versus eating a whole grapefruit with all the fiber it contains. As is the case with most fruits and veggies.
So get a good mix of fruits and veggies throughout the day; your complex carbs (starches) should aim to be low glycemic index items like sweet potatos, whole grains and the like.0
