If a person is unable to get a workout, should they double up the next workout. Get in two workouts in to make up what they missed?

It's exercise, not a birth control pill. Just allow MFP to adjust your calorie goals and don't sweat it.

HA! Just hate knowing I missed a workout and lose the chance to burn calories! Drives me insane!

It happens. Weight loss isn't linear anyway. There will be some weeks where nothing gets lost even doing the same routine.

I workout 6 days a week and will try to do a little extra for a few days to kinda make up for the day of rest, if that makes any sense! Or at times i've thrown in a w/o in the evening like maybe my elliptical. But, I would not stress out on missing a day, that's what's nice about a new day, we can start over.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! But yes, I agree. Just work out the next day and be done. I have "rest" days in my week. I work out two days, rest one. So, if I miss a workout day, I still work out two in a row. So, if I had planned on working out Monday/Tuesday and resting Wednesday, but then I miss Monday, I workout Tues/Weds instead.
