Ok So I am currently at 300lbs. I go to the gym 5 days a week for 1 hour to 2 hours a day. Ive completely changed my eating habbits and started weight training. I dont seem to be losing weight as I feel I should. I lost 20 lbs in a month when i tried nutrisystem. Now that Im eating organic low fat or low carb meals and in the gym, I seem to be losing weight slower. I understand I am building muscle as well. I am just worried that I wont be able to lose no matter how hard I try. I have not measured myself since I started back in March but I can feel a small difference in th way things fit. Any advice on any of this to help speed this along just a little. I have no illusions its going to take time but its just frustrating not seeing much difference after 6 weeks

I wish we could get a 10lb loss as a bonus for trying so hard for 30 days!!

I've worked my butt off this week and the scale hasn't moved... it's frustrating, but I saw another post someone wrote... it was a lady who had lost a really really significant amount of weight and she posted her "secret" to weight loss.... it was simply: KEEP GOING.... no matter if the scale moves or does not move, no matter if you feel like quitting, no matter if you're frustrated or tired or sad or happy, KEEP GOING.

I needed that yesterday as I am experiencing a very slow loss too.... but I would also say, as much as I hate doing it myself, take your measurements, not just your weight. It will help you keep looking forward and not worry so much about the scale.

Add me as a friend if you need someone to share with... happy things, mad things, sad things whatever!! Sometimes it's nice to vent, even to someone you don't know. :-)

Look at it like this... are you dieting or CHANGING YOUR LIFE? Time will always pass and a year from now you will eithet still be 300 lbs and unhealthy or you will be stronger and healtier. Forget the scales for now. Concentrate on a new lifestyle and you WILL see a change. Trust me... my scale hasn't moved in a month... but I refuse to let that stupid little appliance ruin what I WANT SO BAD! stay tough and don't give in!
