Calorie burn?

When i use the machines at the gym it gives a different calorie burn than what MFP will. An example..the elliptical machine says 247 calories burned but MFP will say 435...which do i go with???

    I go with what the machine tells me at the gym. I have read on here that the calories on MFP are high and not accurate.
