Kansas City? Anyone?

Hello! I'm new to MFP (and somewhat new to the KC area)... 5'10", looking to lose roughly 50 lbs. I'm a newlywed, and would love to have a healthy, happy pregnancy someday! So I'm trying to get some weight off, and live a more active lifestyle. My husband and I moved to Kansas City in January of 2011... I grew up in sunny SW Florida. He's trying to shed a few pounds, too, but we both approach weight loss very differently.
