Virtually no weight loss in five months...NSV

I am five months pregnant and am just a couple of pounds lighter than I was before I got pregnant. My midwife wants me to maintain my weight as I am still very overweight (208 lbs).
However I have found it difficult to watch my food in first trimester due to sickness and exercise is a rare commodity in the second, I prefer to sleep...opps.
Anyway I threw out a lot of clothes yesterday and found a maternity jeans sized 16 (donated from a friend for my last pregnancy) that were way too small last time but as my size 20 maternity are far too big I tried them on and they fit !
A bit snug but comfortable, wearable...wow never thought I would ever get back to a 16 (even maternity sized) last time I was an size 16 was over 18 years ago !

Thats great it can be done, when I was pregnant I didnt gain any weight and when I had my son I was actually 7lbs lighter which was great tho I was still abit overweight it ment I didnt have an extra 2 stone of pregnancy weight to lose, and once I stopped breastfeeding I could start working on losing more, and now i've lost 15lbs, so being sensible while your pregnant really pay off people seem to think you should eat for two but you dont have to increase your cals until your third trimester and that only by 300cals, good luck with the rest of your pregnancy0
