Do you adjust your goals??

So I was wondering if you adjust your goal, as far as nutrition/calories go, as you lose weight? And if so, when do you adjust it? After every loss? 10 lbs? And so on... I started at 1240 calories a day, now I'm down 8lbs so I was just curious and changed my weight under goals here on MFP and now it says 1200 calories a day. What are your thoughts on this?? I know 40 calories doesn't seem like much of a difference but I was just curious as to everyone's thoughts on this. Thanks!!

I adjust mine every 10 pounds (and I think MFP will prompt you to adjust yours once you've reached a new 10 pound loss, actually).0

I did not adjust my goals until I hit my goal weight. I experimented with eating a little more for a bit but it didn't quite work for me, so I still try to keep it between 11200-1400 net a day, and then I do not feel bad about my cheat day because I'm well within goals for the week.0
