Hi
I'm in the middle of an ongoing argument with my friend/personal trainer about my arms. I'm in the process of losing around 75lb at the moment, and I don't think my arms will ever be toned or slim. This isn't me being negative, it's because during my teens and early 20's I have gained and lost weight (large amounts) and as a result my arms are quite saggy and big, and the skin is stretched (the stretchmarks are silver now, they're old!). What I want to know is, is it possible to tighten this skin again without surgery? I'm all for working my butt off if it IS possible, but I can't help but think it may be a lost cause. It doesn't stop me wearing sleeveless tops, but it would be a great goal to work towards as I'd love to be proud of my arms again. And I don't want to be constantly striving after something that isn't achievable when I could be focusing on something that I CAN change!
Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Hazel, 25, UK.
