Not "His" Gym :)
So, every time I watch the Planet Fitness commercials I crack up. The message is loud and clear, and yet I am amazed at how many guys and gals haven't caught onto considerate gym etiquette.
Guys, if you want to get a girls attention, extra loud grunts, flexing in the mirror, watching women run on the treadmill, joking loudly (especially crudely), using profanity, and "grouping" on a peice of gym equipment are sure to get you talked about, but not in a positive way.
Want to get postive interactions from women at the gym? Show dedication and committment to your personal workout, be respectful of women working out with weights, don't gawk for God's sake we CAN see you, and understand that the gym is a place where women are getting their sweat on without make-up, hair done, and WILL be sweaty and YES smelly, will bounce and jiggle in all the wrong places and are likely already self concious! Which means they are more likely to subtley smile, communicate minimally, bury themselves in their ipods and workout, and leave quickly to get cleaned up for their likely very busy day.
Not trying to be rude, I am just saying.....
