Training for the 5K

My daughter and I starting training for the 5K on Thursday. We finished day two of the From couch to 5K training today and I feel great except the front of my upper legs are sore.
On day one I couldn't imagine being able to finish the first day of training let alone actually running a 5K but on day two I can imagine running a 5K. Not yet of course but eventually. We were going to run the breast cancer 5K at Alki in Seattle the end of September but I realized it's on a Sunday morning so I can't do it because of church. So we found another 5K in Seattle in November that's on a Saturday so we're going to strive for that one.
I'm so excited! I've started a blog to track my progress so check it out. And thanks again to everone who offered their support and encouragement on my original post. I really appreciate that.

After another poster messaged me for a link to my blog I figured I should post the link. I've never had a blog before so I'm learning as I go. Here's the link in case anyone else wants it. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/mommared530
