I would LOVE to see other peoples progress so far, in pics or just writing! Seeing others progress makes me feel so much more motivated and it makes me realise it is achievable!

VYPeters- I am so amazed by your progress! I have seen it around a few places, and i as so impressed! Did it take long?
It did and I'm still a work in progress (though absolutely thrilled with my success, for sure). Got little scrawny arms and shoulders, am getting serious with the weights now. Do NOT want to lose any more weight, I'm just tickled with my current weight.
Edit to add: studies have shown that the formerly obese have to eat less and workout more than folks of the same weight who were never obese in order to maintain. So far 1460 net is holding me. If I see any more loss I will increase it.0 -

Starting Weight: 81.1kgs (1st April 2011) (pictured at 76.4kgs)
Current Weight: 70.9kgs
Goal Weight: 70kgs (mini goal), I don't actually have a set ultimate goal!
Height: 158cm
kcal per day: 1700
Body Shape: hour glass ish
I have gone from a fitted UK size 16 to a comfortable UK size 14.
In these pictures I have dropped from 76.4kgs to 70.9kgs (profile stats are from over a year)
90 days consistently exercising 5 days a week - a mixture of 1 hour 15 minutes cardio / strength / core / conditioning (Colleen Mcloughlin DVD) and 45 minutes Kettlenetics (Michelle Khai DVD) and various Jillian Michaels workouts. After 90 days exercising between 3 and 5 days a week.
