Should I raise my calorie intake?

So far in my weight loss, I've been eating 1200-1300 cal/day (1400-1500 on workout days), and I've seen pretty steady results until just recently when I hit 50 lbs of weight loss. Now my weight is staying pretty steady, even though I'm still cutting calories... since I'm only 20 lbs away from when I plan to go on maintenance, should I raise my daily intake to 1600 or so? Would that help me overcome my plateau and/or prepare myself for when I stop trying to lose weight?

    Go to:

    1) Run the Military Body Fat Calculator
    2) Run the Goal Weight Calculator
    3) Run the BMR/Calorie Calculator

You should eat the Activity level in calories that closest matches your life style. For example, When I started MFP I was at a 1800 calorie NET. That is almost 200 calories BELOW my BMR. I have since upped my calories to 2300-2500 TOTAL (i don't count exercise calories anymore). I am still losing inches and I actually have the energy to work harder in my work out. No don't cut your calories.....Just shake them up a bit....One day drop down to basic....Next day eat every point, this is to keep your metabolism moving...
