Skinny Chai Tea Latte - 125 calories!

Adapted from the recipe at http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Chai-Tea-Latte
Here is my version:

2 Chai tea bags
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 cup water
1 cup Silk Pure Almond Unsweetened milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Torani Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup

Heat the water in the microwave until hot (I put mine in for 3 minutes). Add tea bags.

In a saucepan combine the almond milk, brown sugar, and vanilla syrup. Cook and stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Remove tea bags from the water, stir in the spices. Add the tea to the milk mixture and stir well. Makes 2 servings at 125 calories per serving.

I chilled mine and drank it with ice. The only problem was that the spices didn't dissolve so I needed to stir mine occasionally. Delicious!!!

    Trying to stay away from sugar wonder if Stevia would work? Sounds good!
