    well the first thing I would say is he is nervous in his role and is falling back on jokes he would do with his friends. Im not saying it is right, but before you start documenting, I would have a frank conversation and tell him how these things make you feel. Send YOURSELF and email documentating what was said and his reaction. Then see how he responnds.

    I will be he really isnt a jerk, he just is so scared to be the new boss he doesnt know how to act yet.
