Is anyone out there doing Nordic Walking? I just started and I really like it. Low impact full body workout that burns 20-40% more calories than regular walking. Any tips?

I've been using them for about a year, off and on, around cancer treatment and chemo last year. I, too, love the all over workout the sticks poles give me.

I wonder if anyone has entered them into the database? I'm not sure how to get or enter the correct values. Anyone have any idea?

Nordic walking is an activity that burns 20 to 40% percent more calories than traditional walking. This is achieved by incorporating the upper body into your workout by adding walking poles.

    Calories
An individual weighing 160 pounds walking 3.5 mph burns 277 calories. In comparison, the same individual would burn 388 calories per hour Nordic walking.

I found this on google, hope it will help. I have nordic poles and don't use them very often. Think I might start again.
