So Confused!

Ok, so I am really really trying to start losing weight, get toned and feel better about myself. I have been on MFP a while, but didn't have any success the first time, and realized just recently that I am not getting enough calories.
I am really confused about this. I have read forum post after forum post, and cannot get a clear answer.
Should I be eating at my BMR, and eating back my calories after a workout?
I'm 5'3

Please check out my diary and let me know your thoughts. So far weight loss has been nonexistent to very slow and I would like to know what adjustments I can make to get the best results.
Thanks!

You should be netting your BMR at least everyday.
You can experiment with eating back exercise calories. It works for some, not for others. And when you only have a small amount to lose, it will come off very slowly. I stayed at the same weight for like 3 months before I saw the scale move again. But I know I am still making progress, I have been losing inches, and toning muscles. Screw the scale, it is an a-hole.
Love you!0 -
Also, you should have your goals set to lose .5lbs per week. Or, you can set it at maintenance and let your exercise create a deficit for you. That's what I am doing.0

I adjusted it, and increased my base calories to 1260, and I try to eat back my exercise calories. It's all one big experiment. I will keep it here for a week and see where I am at. It's just really frustrating that I put in all of this effort with very little results.
I am keeping at it though. Honestly, my measurements decrease every week, even if my weight doesn't. I don't care if I don't lose a pound more as long as my body is changing for the better. All this hard work has to count for soemthing!!
I love yout too. Thanks for responding0 -
I hear you! Give your body time to adjust to the more calories. You may see a weight increase in the first week. Don't fear it, accept it and continue on. Once your body figures out this is how much it's going to get on a regular basis you'll start dropping again. Give it a month and see! I typically eat back 2/3 to 3/4 of my exercise calories, as long as I net near my BMR, I figure I'm fine for the most part. Slow and steady, right?0
