Not able to eat as much....

I find myself eating less now and not being hungry. Some days I can't get all of my calories in (I'm at 1500 a day). It's like I can't physically eat as much now and my tummy gets full faster. Anyone else have this "problem"?

I have that problem only it's become more of an issue. I try to force myself to eat sometimes , but I get sick so I don't anymore. I am only eating 1000 calories or less a day. So I started replacing meals with Boost shakes so I can still get my vitamins and minerals. I eat very little now, I use to eat a whole lot... Like a large pizza in one sitting now I can barely eat one slice. I don't know why , and I exercise to much that the calories I ate for the day are gone basically.0

Nope. I could easily put down 5000 calories a day if I wanted to. If I eat less than about 2500 then I am starving.0

I eat when I am hungry, never force myself to eat if I don't want to as it leads to nasty habits! Eat well :-)0

I'm having the same issue lately but I'm assuming it's because I don't eat very many calorie dense foods. I've had a huge lack of appetite lately and I've been very, very active. :ohwell:0

i had this problem. turns out it was mainly from being stressed/not getting enough sleep.
but in general, when i'm not stressed/depressed HIIT cardio curbs my appetite so on those days i do it i tend to eat less, but i dont force myself to eat (unless it's something like 9 PM and i'm only at 800 calories  ) because i know on days i lift weights i go over my calories so it all works out0 -
A large amount of reasons could be the culprit of your loss of appetite.
Although, As we develop a routine of under eating/ being too calorie deficient, Our stomach adapts to these habits. Thus, creating an endless cycle of light eating.
Increasing your appetite is a slow process, but if you take small steps, over time your stomach will start to expand and it will become easier and easier to consume the calories you require.
The best tip I can give is to completely throw out the notion that you need to eat 3 large meals a day. "breakfast, lunch, dinner" are meaningless to me. Instead, eat 3-4 medium/regular protions with snacks inbetween. General rule of thumb: Eat something every 2 hours. By "grazing" this way (for lack of a better word) you will start to build up a good metabolism, and find that over time you will feel better, feel more satisfied, and eliminate many of the cravings and binge eating that comes with restricting your diet. It may be tricky at first to get all of these meals in without going over your calorie goal, But this just takes practice, trial, and error. This is also where portions come in to be so important.
Hope this helps.0
