Hello. I have been thinking about doing a 24 hour fast to try and kick start a loss again. I am tacking medication for arthritis and need to take 2 tablets a day (morning and evening) with food or milk. Is it a good idea to do a fast and just have the small glass of milk with each?
Many thanks

I'm not sure about a 24 hour fast, but the week before last I did a 'zero point' week. Essentially I ate only vegetables (excluding potatoes, sweet potato, parsnips but including butternut squash, swede, anything green), egg whites, sugar free jelly... I lost 6 lbs in 5 days and was never ever hungry. I'm sure it's not good to do it for longer than I did but I desperately needed a big loss for motivation and it worked! x0
